Social Media Promotion Rules

In order to run some fun contests and promotions for all of you on our social media channels, we need to have some basic ground rules. So, without further ado, here they are:
When we run a contest or promotion, we'll post a link to these rules along with instructions on how to participate. You will never be required to purchase anything to participate. If you do participate, you are agreeing to be bound by these rules with no changes, so read on!
Our social media contests are open to current US residents who are 13 years or older only. The contests and your participation in them are subject to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy available at www.subway.com – which are part of these rules. The contests are also subject to the terms of the applicable social platform.
Within our social media channels, we may occasionally request Tweets or comments for the chance to win cool prizes. When we do this, we reserve the right to pick our favorite response based on whatever reason we decide. In order to be accepted as an entry, your tweet must include "@subway." If we feel there should be more than one winner -- or there is a chance at multiple winners -- the same conditions apply.
If we run a contest that offers prizes or focuses on the first number of responses, we will go by Twitter's or the applicable platform's timestamp. No excuses. Our social media contests are run on platforms that we don't control. And as we all know, the Internet is a series of tubes…and these tubes can get clogged. We're not responsible for any errors or outages or if we don't get your post or message in time.
You give us permission to use anything you post or share through your participation. For example, we may use your name, profile information, content, etc., to announce you as a winner, so if you are uncomfortable with that, feel free to watch from the sidelines. Anything you send us directly will become our property and will not be returned. Contest winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.
We reserve the right to exclude or remove any material/messages/usernames/content, etc., of those who participate if we deem anything to be inappropriate. You may be excluded from our contests. If you are under the age of 13 or do not reside in the US, we're sorry, but you cannot participate. If you are younger than 18, we'll ask for a parent or legal guardian to sign an affidavit if you are deemed a winner.
If you happen to be one of our lucky winners, we will need contact information in order to send you your prize(s). So keep your eye on us. We will post instructions. If you don't provide this information or respond within our specified timeframe, we'll have to share the love with someone else. Prizes are provided "as is". Still have questions?
